Learn how to lose weight naturally which is the most recommended approach. Losing weight naturally involves a steady weight loss plan. In all the years of working on getting a six pack, the only method that really worked was naturally. You can workout really hard in the gym and make yourself hungry which causes you to over eat. This will send you in the wrong direction and then we usually give up.
Before diving into losing weight you have to know a few details. This will help you make sure that you are going to make progress. The worst part of weight loss is most people do trial and error, see no results and then give up. You need to avoid this at all cost. Once you understand where weight loss comes from you can then begin to create your plan that will work 100%.
How To Create A Natural Weight Loss Plan
The first thing you need to do is determine how many calories your body burns with minimal activity. This is known as your metabolic rate or BMR. For me this was 1900. Once you know this number you can begin to determine a weight loss strategy for your diet. The rule of thumb is it takes a total deficit of 3500 calories to lose 1 pound of body fat. So if your BMR is 1900 and you run a 500 daily caloric deficit, you will lose 1 pound of body fat per week.
Ideally you will want to not have a deficit larger than 20% daily or you risk getting into starvation mode or even end up losing muscle mass. Muscle mass takes a lot of effort to build and losing even 1 pound of muscle will take time to replace. From here you can now begin to build your diet plan.
Diet Plan To Lose Weight Naturally
Once you know how many calories you will consume daily then you can use a calorie tracker to measure how much food you are actually eating. It will take some time to figure out if the foods you currently eat work for the weight loss plan or if you need to adjust the portions or replace certain foods altogether. When you get really seasoned in this area, you can even begin to plan meals in advance. I do this all the time because I really like cookies and chocolate so I’ll actually add them to meals or snacks all while incorporating them into total daily calorie budget.

Even though it took me many more years that I wanted to get ripped, it shouldn’t take that long.
